Dragon do one of the best KT kits I have seen, plenty of extras already in the box and nicely detailed. The magic track links are very accurate, and when assembled and fitted give a realistic sag. The metal barrel is always a bonus on any kit and I do believe you get quite a bit of pe.The KT is a cracking subject to model as it was in service for such a short time detail and weathering either has to be subtle or all out destroyed. Will be watching this one closely as its one of my all time favorite tanks and nice to see another military build on the forum.

Dragon make some lovely looking kits and this looks like it doesn't dissappoint. Hope you have fun building it, will be following

I do like Dragon kits there always great fun to build and have great detail. This one looks another winner Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Thanks guys your right about the kit its fully loaded  Dragon have come along way since the early inaccuracies of there kits , just one point about this kit i`ve attached the swing arms for the wheels and all ok but when it comes to fitting the one`s for the idle wheels there is no locating point  so i think i`ll have to make the tracks fit them then use the idle wheel to take up the slack on the track(like the real thing  ) i think i had the same problem when building there Jagdtiger oh well  Phil COMING SOON =1/72 Italeri diorama`s Battle for the Reichstag and Stalingrad battle at the tractor factory 1/16 Trumpeter King Tiger with loads of extras ON THE GO= refurbishment of 1/25 Tamiya tiger 1 , amt Star trek kits and space 1999 models

That is exactly why there is no location point for the idlers, on the real tank they were adjustable to tighten the tracks.

A lovely looking kit Phil and I'm sure with the quality of Dragon's kits, it will build into a cracking model. Have fun with the build and I'll be looking forward to your updates.

A very nice start indeed Phil, well done, this'll be cool when finished!!
The Famo was a BIG vehicle in reality, but seeing it posed behind your King Tiger just makes it look small and emphasises the sheer size of the tank!!
