hi could anyone help me so i dont make same mistake as ive just made might just be me been over careful when i put the main 3 parts together do i need them all flat on the table because when i do the top part (where the deck sits) is slightly curved along the length of the ship

hi..cant really see whats gone on there but take the parts apart and soak in warm water for 30 mins or so and then put them on a flat surface and place another flat surface on top so it holds the parts flat and leave until dry..and then clamp on a board like this..see pic  cheers benny

dont go by the top it has a slight curve go by laying the bottom of keel flat only ,ignore the curve in the deck its ment to be there

As long as the bottom of the keel frames are sat flat and level on the work surface then all is well, the slight bow you have picked out with your rule is the natural end to end deck slope which is how it is meant to be.

great stuff bottom is all good apart from the join where theres a gap but it does sit flat on table many thx 1st time i did it i didnt put it flat there was a gap in the center & when i tried to fix it it went badly wrong
