I'm well on the way to completing the fantastic Senna MP4/4 , 1/8 scale but when I saw this in a local model shop I just couldn't resist. ( after all it satisfies my Mclaren addiction Crying )
This will be a straightforward "out of the box" build with no ( well maybe a little ) extra detail.
The version is one with the snorkel intakes so is a little different to the larger build. It also gives me a chance to practice preparing and painting parts again which I'm missing with the Deag' kit.BigGrin
Malc.

Have fun Malc, I'm sure you will make a good job of it and I bet you can't resist adding lots of detail?!

You're right Kev Laugh I'm already thinking of what can be done. The super detail kit from Top Studio caught my attention but it's quite pricey and I'm not sure that I have the skills ( and sufficiently small fingers ) to do it justice BigGrin.

Looks like a really nice kit. Sometimes it's just fun to build straight out of the box Cool

HaHa!! I just knew you would Malc and I'll look forward to seeing what you add. Cool ThumpUp

I have that full 'Top Studio' upgrade set for this along with the limited edition version of the Tamiya MP4/4 kit that comes with a driver figure, an engineer figure and decals for Senna's helmet. The 'Top Studio' set is stunning in it's content and has to be seen to be believed - I really should make a start on it!!

Good luck with your build Malc, looking forward to it.

OK..the first little extra is the heat shield on the undertray. I cut some kitchen foil to the correct shape and then pressed it onto a mesh with a firm sponge to get the stippled look BigGrin

All very neat and tidy - looks fantastic.

Thst kitchen foil trick is very smart as well - would never of thought of using that.
