Hi everyone, thank you for your patience.

Here goes. since subscribing to this partwork I have received 17 issues out of 85, and although I will be building the DB5 by the instructions given in the magazine, I will be doing some MODS particularly around the engine and bulkhead.

The mods I will be doing are as follows:-

1)Washer bottle ---- glass bottle, pipes and tubes
2)Brake servos------ Vacuum pipes, Painting
3)Coil ------------- Painting, fitment for HT lead
4)Alternator ------- Fit fan from aluminium.
5)Starter motor ---- Modify and paint
6)Oil cooler pipes - add pipes and oil cooler if not included in parts
7)Water header tank- add overflow pipe, and further pipes to engine
8)Dipstick --------- add a dipstick, none on parts list
9)SU Carb ---------- add linkages and fuel pipes
10)Distributor ----- Fit 7 leads,remodel dizzy top
11)Plug boots ------ Paint silver to black
12)Oil filter ------ Paint

All above for starters!!!!!!! all above will be posted with photo"s as mods are done.

I would like to thank the guys from the partwork forum for their information and the inspiration neccasary to do the mods.

this all came from BROGUSBLUE and his DB5 build, who is building the Mclaren on this forum.

MODELLING IS A JOURNEY NOT A DESTINATION.

Cheers

Dunno why, but I wrongly assumed the engine of the real DB5 was a V8 rather than a V6 - Ya learn something every day!

Ah yes of course I'm forgetting how old the DB5 is, prefer the sound of a V8 or 12
