Well not been working on builds much lately but have a few days o do so work now. Hers my update. First i managed to get the deck finished then did the first ladder. Then put the first of the exteria bullwarks on. Well they drying at the moment, not glues them yet. To those who have gone past this stage. Does the gap in the bullwarks matter or will it be ok as it is. Regards Foz

Thanks for the comments boys, here is a small update of what i have done today. First off i did the rudder operating tackle which took me ages. Not sure if that's because the eye sight is going or the arthritis in the fingers but took me ages to thread the small blocks. Next i started on the dead eyes. Could not bend the wire supplied so decided to by some smaller gauge wire to make them. Well that's its for today Regards Foz

Cheers Karl. I did not like painting the brass wire after i had put the dead eyes on so have ordered some black wire as the photos show it does not look to good as eyesight and steady hands not the best. Anyway, finished part 86, just a little touching up required. As always comments most welcome. Regards Foz

Not sure but I think the wire in the ebay link may be insulated, hard to tell but it does look like it and im sure you dont want insulation on the wire for what you need. I sprayed the entire chainwale black for my victory, made it easier as the deadeyes are supposed to be black Steve

Thanks for that Steve.
I should have also said, although Karl pointed me in the right direction, i had forgotten to look on e bay and amazon.
Found some brass craft wire in black on amazon, so will wait for that to come.
As for now on to the masts and all the blocks i need to get rigged up.
Regards
Foz.
