Welcome to my build of the Eaglemoss BTTF Delorean

Let me start by saying i have never build a partworks before but have take the plunge with this delorean and the upcoming R2D2 kit set for next year, let alone a build diary so bear with me as mistakes will be made but i look forward to sharing the experience with you.

I was lucky enough to get the first issue early but the official launch is scheduled for January 2017 if eaglemoss don't mess it up.. Nah that will never happen Unsure

The rear.. Push the 2 sections together and secure with 4x BP screws.

The lights.. Insert the 4 light parts into Each frame and then attach the frame to the rear end using 2x BP screws

The Licence plate.. Attach the hologram stickers, Those things are tiny Cursing to the outatime plate before attaching it to the base plate using 2x AP screws

Attach the upper plate holder to the base plate using another 2x AP screws

The Bumper..Last but not least we clip the bumper section into the rear end and that complete part one of what i hope will be an enjoyable Build

I recently did a short walkaround of a Delorean. One thing you may consider to upgrade this a bit is to fill in the logo on the rear bumper with a bit of flat aluminium.

But is it like this on the BTFF version, it could be that the owner did this himself as it seems odd as to why this obvious feature would be missed on the partwork?

yes those decals on the number plate are tiny, i would have preferred wet decals, you can slide those. good luck with your build.

A valid point. I've had a quick look and it seems they indeed blacked it out for the movie version.

Attach the long piece of black trim into the 3 holes in the wing and then turn the wing over and secure them in place using 2 cp screws

Take the shorter piece of black trim and attach to the 2 holes in the wing before turning it over and securing it with 1x cp screw
