The way the screw has to go in at an angle made it very difficult, even with my screwdriver extension, I couldn't get the screws in.

I'm assuming the screws could've been installed at an earlier stage instead of issue #60, maybe a very minor assembly stage flaw.

But, I am very satisfied up to this stage of the build, I enjoy this Shelby model.

Wow, I finally finished the starter solenoid switch!! About as good as I can get it anywayLOL After $30 and about 20 hours assembly time!!

I haven't attached the top piece yet or painted it silver because I am going to wait until I receive the RS firewall issue to install it.

Thanks for looking,

Rich

Hi Rich, BigGrin

Good to see you back with us.Cool

I`ve looked into the data of your pics and they appear as downloads for two reasons.

1: They are way oversized for the forum. They need to be a max of 650 pixels wide.

2: They need to be in the .jpg format and not .jpeg format.

Lots of info to be found here on how to edit your pics:

https://forum.model-spac....aspx?g=posts&t=244

If you get stuck just shout and we`ll help sort things out.Cool

Been a few years. Had some health issues but back on my Shelby DeAgostini model.

Thanks Derek.

Hope others join in the conversation. As I am having difficulty finding what size hex nuts and screws other members are using and how other members are attaching them. I know about how most are attaching wiring, but would like very much to know what size hex nuts/screws members are using and where they are purchasing them and how they are attaching them.

I can find brass nuts/screws but I want to use stainless or regular metal for the hex nuts/screws.

Thanks for any help,
Richie

Thanks Roy, coming from an old Pro like youCool

Glad to see these Shelby threads may get some new life. I've been away for a few years due to health reasons but I am excited to get started back. I have all my subscriptions now and NOW I want to direct my attention to some detail work along the way.

LOL, it may not be as detailed as others here, but slightly detailedLOL
