Pack 2 has just arrived this morning. It seems like a lifetime ago that I finished pack 1. Since my last post, I have built a jig so it is all systems go.
Today is the tomorrow you wished for yesterday!

A quick update.
As advised previously, I built a jig to steady the hull (photo 1).

Holding the forward bulkhead in place while the glue dried (photo 2).

Where I am with the guns, launch, and anchor (photo 3).

Where I left Pack 1 (photo 4 & 5).

Now that pack 2 has arrived I can continue with my build.

Very nice progress Nikon, the keel at this stage is just about getting it all square and it looks like you've got this in hand.

The work however on the canons, anchor and launch are stunning, if this is an example of what to expect for the rest of the build then this will build into a very nice finished model Drool

Thank you for all your replies, they are very encouraging.

Finished building the bulkheads and added them loosely to the keel (photos 1&2).

Sanded the top of the keel and bulkheads to make them nice & smooth.

Started fitting the lower gun deck (any idea how hard it is to take a photo with a Nikon D800 with battery pack, 24-70mm f2.8 lens and flash with one hand while you fit the deck with the other?)(photos 3&4).

Had to file a couple of slots to get the deck to lie flat without forcing it. Thanks once again to the member who advised me to make the jig. Went in no bother when I removed the keel from the jig but I would have been building a banana boat!(photo 5)

Got the deck pinned to the bulkheads (photos 6,7&8).

Next job is to glue it all together so I'll have to find a small jar to mix some glue. This is where I'm at (photo 9).

Coming along really well.

Your launch and initial canon builds look very well put together and neatly painted.

Great work on the keep and frames. It makes a great base for the planks. Top job well done.
