This kit was released in 2005 as a semi-assembled premium model in both Red and Yellow, but was previously released in 2002 as a fully feldged model kit.

It has an impressive price tag, around £270-£350 depending on where you buy from, but is well woth that tag. Out of the box there is a huge amount of detail in this kit, mixing plastic/rubber(?)/Etch/cast metal parts, as well as various vinyl tubing and screws/nuts/bolts.

There is also a fair amount of after market detail packs which add an incredible amount of detail to this kit.

Length: 392mm
Width: 173mm
Height: 95mm

I won't go into too much detail as the photos speak for themselves:

And now, the after market parts I chose to use with this kit. The are from Hobby Design and can be bought from Hiroboy (UK Supplier)

Detail Up Set £40 App
Brake Set £30 App

I've put my smallest finger in some of the shots to give you an idea of the level of detail in these sets

There is another set which has pretty much the same contents as both of those but the price seems higher for less, that is by Scale Motorsport. Also, not sure where it can be bought from but there is a further set that adds extra details to the suspension assembly. I did look at this as well but decided against it as pretty much the same level can be achieved from the base kit contents.

There are various CF decal sets available too, which I also declined to go for, as well as a complete external CF decal set for the body, should you choose to go for that option. They are all available via Hiroboy as well, when in stock.

I may well yet invest in a few sheets of 1/12 scale CF decals for various parts of the monocoque...will see how it goes.

Looking forward to getting started on this.

Cheers

It certainly is Nemesis...Tom I was tempted...but I'm not sure if I can wait till January to start building it. I've had this sat upstairs for 2 weeks already and I've been desperate to get on with it LOL

I'm actually looking into buying a cheap, small car kit as I am using techniques/paints/clear coats I am unfamiliar with and having perfomed a very quick short test earlier this evening with less than desired results, I am reluctant to risk wrecking a kit I've literally spent the better part of £500 on.

I am at a bit of an impass now Confused
