I know this probably only qualifies as a diorama in the loosest of terms, but I made this for my 14 year old who wanted a fake bonsai tree for Christmas. It was my first attempt at anything like this, and I was fairly pleased with the results, so I thought I'd share. I took several strands of florist's wire (about 30) and twisted them around each other to form the trunk and roots. Then I gradually split the strands into smaller and smaller groups to form the branches. Once I had all the strands spread out, I coated the entire thing with latex rubber, and then painted it to look like wood. I then sprayed adhesive to the tips of all the branches and applied the foliage. Next, I mixed up some Plaster of Paris and spread it into the bottom of a potting dish and set the tree into it. Once dried, I used a dark brown wash on the plaster and then glued down some railroad landscaping material to simulate the dirt and grass. maybe you should skip the chainsaw juggling...

Thanks guys! ( @ Carl...yeah, that would be a problem) I can't take credit for the idea/technique...I found this video by Luke Towan and (for the most part) copied his method. He's actually got a lot of good videos on diorama creation, so if you haven't already, you should check him out! https://www.youtube.com/...v=0FNQTxX_jT4&t=195sIf at first you don't succeed,
