Nice I like what you have done there looks very realistic Will you be giving the rest of the car Interior/Body the same weathered look? Steve Built- Shelby Mustang, Lamborghini Huracan Building-Spitfire, Redbull racing RB7, 3d printer, Honda CB750, Stage coach and Revell 1/400 Titanic

To the front subframe top side painted black To the rear trunk area painted blue very thick t so it looks like under seal and reworked the wheel tubes and trunk floor plus added more details to the tank Added brake pipe the the calipers And finally and more dirt to the underside.

First an apology, I missed the first post on this very different build of the Mustang. Now, having had a read/look through I have to say it`s looking good. Look forward to seeing what happens to the bodywork, when you get to that stage. Congrats on your "Blue" medal for running a build diary. Wow, I seem to have missed this build previously too. I like your paintwork and think you've captured the well used look perfectly

That weathering is excellent. How did you go about painting the engine? Just apply a primer and then paint? Graham I was drowning my sorrows. But my sorrows they'd learned to swim.

Thanks for the great comments everyone
The paints I'm using are the humbrol enamels and rust-oleum chrome metallic spray paint The closest I could find for the body colour is Citroen admiral blue And for glue using the Gorilla super glue with brush applicator

And do you paint directly onto the engine or prime it first? Graham I was drowning my sorrows. But my sorrows they'd learned to swim.
