So the times they are a changing....Bernie Ecclestone this evening confirmed that he is no longer running F1... http://www.skysports.com...ger-boss-of-formula-one
I know he has been a controversial figure but no-one can deny that he almost single-handedly transformed the sport into the world-wide spectacle that it has become today, and made many people, not least himself, extremely rich in the process. It will now be very interesting to see in which direction Chase Carey and Liberty media take the sport.

Indeed, over 30 years has transformed F1 into a world-wide spectacle, which since 2008 has had an alarming decline in viewer figures http://www.f1fanatic.co....-popularity-since-2008/
The other good news is that Ross Brawn is to return to F1 as Managing Director of F1 Motorsports
Shrewd move by Liberty in purchasing the 18% stake back in Sept on the basis that Bernie would remain as CEO for 3yrs, clearly Liberty had other plans hence forcing him out who is already saying he's been "deposed".
I doubt Bernie will accept the honoury role and likely use his estimated 2 billion fortune to undermine the new owners of F1
