Hi everyone

I have managed to properly start the RB7's GX21 engine and followed the instruction to set the needle valve. I'm currently running it 3 full turns from close position.

Every time I try to give it a full throttle, the engine gets flooded and shuts down.

Has anyone experience the same issue?

Appreciate some guidance as it is my first gas engine RC.

Thank you.

Eric

I had exactly the same problem. I set the HS needle to 2 turns and now I can go full throttle without stalling the engine. I started with 4 turns out and kept leaning it until I got stable full throttle.

Hi, I finished my build in 2017 and still have this problem of engine stalling at full power. Can't wailt to see if reducing HSN to 2 full turns will give me performance I am sure engine should provide. Still a great model with nothing like it elsewhere.

Having tried reducing HSN to 2 turns I'm afraid it dosen't work for me and I think it was then running too lean. I would appreciate any other help available and hope ther must be a good number of people actually running their car rather than just displaying it. I wonder Tomick if you have any thoughts / suggestions.Crying
