Hi All,
Here is the Drakkar (Viking Ship) from A/Ls Junior Series of kits.

This new series of "Boats of History". It is a kit for +8 years old children.
There are three Boat Kits and two Plane kits available.

The model presents an easy and pleasant building that suppose a different and healthy activity during its assembly and they may be the beginning of a passion for the hobby of modeling.
Share and enjoy with the youngest children building the series of boats that marked the history.

The basic structure of the model is plywood board made by high precision laser cut, with a fit in system extremely simple and effective.

The kit includes all needed to complete the toy: cut and sewn sails, cotton thread, instructions on DVD, glue, paints, brush and stickers.

Build, decorate and enjoy the model, classic Viking ship. It is made up of 54 pieces and when finish it is 268 mm long.

For this build it will be made by my 10yr old son George who has attempted a plastic plane before but not wood. He also enjoys Lego Technic.
Everything will be done by him.
Posted by me on behalf of him.

What a great kit for the younger modellers.

They appear to be very similar in construction to the larger kits without having resorted to something toy like so bound to give great satisfaction.

Really nice to see your lads getting involved with something creative - a real credit to you.
Happy Modelling
