This has just arrived and is my first Tamiya r/c truck. I have the limited blue version and the pre painted parts look great. Just put a couple of pics on for now but will add some more once i've had a good look through the huge amount of parts in the box. This will be a straight out of the box build but I will also be adding the multifunction unit for sound and lights together with a trailer and lights, uprated motor, remote uncoupling unit and alloy wheels. Well I plucked up the courage and made a start and managed to get the main chassis together and a couple of servos fitted for steering and gearchanges, thanks for looking. Al Spal attached the following image(s):

Nice start on the truck Al. Is there much painting to do with this kit, or does it all come pre coloured?

Thanks for looking in guys, Nem the truck I have is the limited edition Blue which comes with all the blue bodywork beautifully pre-painted. The main frame rails are pre painted black but the rest of the black plastic comes with a shiny unpainted finish which could be painted but I was happy with how it looked so left it . There is one sprue that requires painting and that is for the cab interior but unsure of what I will be able to use once the speaker and multifunction unit are fitted. AL
