This is my first attempt at writing a build diary so please bare with me as I muddle my way through. Build the Jaguar E-Type, Issue 1Parts with Issue 1: Centre Panel Assembly, for Bonnet Motif Bar in Air Intake Aperture Motif (Jaguar 'Growler' badge) Left Hand Hub Cap Quite a simple build to start us off as all that is needed is to place the Badge into the recess at the centre of the Motif bar. There is a tab on the badge which means it only fits one way and is then secured from behind with a single screw Ian23 attached the following image(s): Building: Deagostini R2D2, Eaglemoss Delorean, Deagostini E-Type
Built: Deagostini Millennium Falcon

Good to see an E-Type underway. Look forward to seeing your progress. Graham I was drowning my sorrows. But my sorrows they'd learned to swim.

I see you are another beginner like me Ian. The more the merrier. Stay with it, it's going to be a long build, but the end result will be worth it. BUILDING - HONDA CB750 - HAYNES V8 VISIBLE ENGINE

Thanks for the reply's guys. I've been wanting to do a car for ages. I've nearly signed up for the Mustang 4 or 5 times but every time I stopped myself because whilst it's a very nice looking car it's not one I have ever really wanted. Then the Jag came out and I was sold! This will be an out of the box model as I like the green and the skills and experience I gained from building the Millennium Falcon and now doing the Delorean and R2-D2 and the Jag should put me in very good stead for the future. Mind you I'm more then half convinced that Eaglemoss and Deagostini are conspiring to bankrupt me lol. With the 3 that I'm currently doing and the X-wing on the horizon. Think I will need a pay rise Building: Deagostini R2D2, Eaglemoss Delorean, Deagostini E-Type
Built: Deagostini Millennium Falcon

Build the Jaguar E-Type, Issue 2parts with Issue 2:Leather seat cushion Cylinder head Inlet Camshaft Exhaust Camshaft Inlet Cam Cover Exhaust Cam Cover Oil cap Bit more to do with this issue as we construct the Cylinder head and Camshafts. First thing to do is to take the oil cap and place it in the hole on the cam cover. then secure from behind with a single screw (Picture 2) Next take the cam shafts and following the directions provided push them into the required holes in the cylinder head (Picture 3) Next take the Cam covers and push them into place on the cylinder head, completing this issue (Picture 4) Ian23 attached the following image(s): Building: Deagostini R2D2, Eaglemoss Delorean, Deagostini E-Type
Built: Deagostini Millennium Falcon

Build the Jaguar E-Type, Issue 3Parts with Issue 3:Horn Button Steering Wheel Spare Tyre Another simple one this issue. Take the Horn button and ensuring it's the correct way up, push it into the 3 holes in the centre of the steering wheel (Picture 2) Ian23 attached the following image(s): Building: Deagostini R2D2, Eaglemoss Delorean, Deagostini E-Type

I see the newer steering wheel has a wood grain effect, whereas the test part didn't...

Very nice Ian, Clear pics too. Also good to see, that the improvements from the test parts include the cam lobes being offset and not all in the same position. Keep up the good work and enjoy your build. Regards delboy271155 (Derek0 COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
