New month brings new parts and unfortunately another dreaded wheel... Build the Jaguar E-Type, Stage 38Parts with Issue 38Wheel Rim (outer) Inner spokes x24 Take the battery and the battery leads provided in the previous stage. Push the 2 connectors into the holes on the top of the battery (picture 2) Secure the battery to the left hand mudshield with a single screw (picture 3) Slide the assembly into the subframe under the heater motor and secure with 2 screws. Ensure that the end of the battery lead is in position in the notch on the voltage regulator unit (picture 4) Take the end of the cluster of wires from stage 35 and plug it into the hole on the subframe behind the air filter, Take the remaining vacuum hose and plug it into the hole in the end of the air balance pipe. Next take the right mudshield and and fit it under the air filter securing it to the bottom with a single screw and to the bulkhead with a single screw. Build the Jaguar E-Type, Stage 39Parts with Issue 39Wheel centre Inner spokes x24 Spoke retainer ring First take the wheel centre and fit it onto the building jig making sure the slot and tab engage. Then fit the outer wheel rim onto the jig making sure the hole in the rim engages with the post on the jig. Next cut some double sided tape and work it into the groove around the rim. Now you start fitting the spokes. they can old go in one way as they have a pin head at one end. Starting with the lower row of holes feed the spokes through until it reaches the grove on the outer rim. The length and angle of the spoke means it will only fit into one of the grooves (Picture 2) Continue with the bottom row of holes until you have all 24 fitted and facing the same direction (Picture 3) now take another spoke and feed it through one of the upper row of holes ensuring it is angled the opposite way to the lower set of spokes. Carry on adding spokes to the upper holes until all 24 remaining spokes are in place. Take the retaining ring and place it over the rim. It has several notches and posts on it the mean it will only fit one way. Be very careful that you don't dislodge any of the spokes. Screw the retaining ring down with 4 screws and remove it from the jig with a sigh of relief (Picture 4) Ian23 attached the following image(s): Building: Deagostini R2D2, Eaglemoss Delorean, Deagostini E-Type

Build the Jaguar E-Type, Stage 40Parts with issue 40Outer Spokes (Type A) x12 Outer Spokes (Type B) x12 Wheel rim (inner) Spacer Ring Take the Assembly from issue 39. The instructions say to use more double sided tape, which I did use, but in the end I got so fed up with them still falling out I broke out the superglue. Take one of the spokes from the packet labeled A and fit it through one of the lower holes in the wheel centre. Feed it through the V made by the closest pair of inner spokes. Spokes from packet A go in the lower holes and spokes from packet B go in the upper holes. (picture 2) Once this has been done with all the spokes, Take the spacer ring and place it onto the assembly aligning the hole and the post to ensure it fits the right way round. (picture 3) Then take the inner rim and place it onto the assembly again aligning the hole and post to ensure its the right way round. Secure this with 4 screws (Picture 4) Ian23 attached the following image(s): Building: Deagostini R2D2, Eaglemoss Delorean, Deagostini E-Type
