Build the Jaguar E-Type, Stage 41

Parts with Issue 41

Tyre
washer

Take the Tyre and place it in boiling water for a few minutes to soften. remove it from the water and dry thoroughly. before the rubber cools push the rim of the wheel into the Tyre and stretch it around the whole wheel. It will take some force.

Take the subframe assembly and align the lugs on the back of the hub with the notches on the right front axle. Take the washer and place it into the hub so the holes align and secure it with a single screw. Make sure the wheel spins freely (Picture 2)

And that finishes another month. The wheel this time wasn't as difficult, Probably because i had done one before. I managed to go the 3 spoke method and i got the outer spokes right this time.

the next issues will be good as it looks like we are getting the rest of the floor assembly. Its going to get bigger faster now!!

Hi guys,

I got this months issues and have built the wheel, I won’t be posting a build diary for them as I have already done that for 2 wheels. If your interested feel free to go back and look at issues 39 - 41.

It’s really starting to come together now and as soon as the wheels are done and we can start properly building body it’s going to look amazing
