Hi again all, Iam a little confused (it don't take much), the rope template say's "To position these evenly, trace the template above, cover both sides with clear tape, and crease it along the line". The width of the template say's its 9mm but it's not it's 15mm, and from the crease should be 8mm to the top holes and 7mm to the bottom holes, when in fact they are 11mm and 9mm. Am i missing something here? Roger the Cabin Boy

You need to make a template to the dimensions shown, not cut/trace the template directly from the magazine, you'll notice at step 11 that the template being used is white paper rather than the burgundy colour of the magazine template

I can see that the sale of filler has just gone through the roof . But the explanation in the magazine was not that clear and i could see that this would pose a problem to some builders, but tomick is right as always its just a representation of the template that you needed to make for the rope lines its only larger in the mag so it could be understood better for us old'uns . its always better to check tomicks build twice than to make a compleat hash of it once . Builds in progress: HMS Victory.HMS Surprise. Completed builds: Revell London Bus 1/24. Builds to do:Sovereign of the seas, Hms Albion.
