The instructions want you to assemble the ramp to the frame section before screwing it to the rest of the frame. Would it be out of the question to finish bolting down the frame parts and mounting the ramp parts later? I have no problem mounting the LED but not ready to do the whole ramp assembly as of yet. DeAgostini kit builds:

Howdy, I would encourage you to do it now. It gets pretty cramped in there after you put the frame together, and you pretty much have to have 360 degree access to the ramp parts. Tired, Old, and Cranky!

I would also recommend you attached the hull piece of the ramp section to the frame. I built mine painting the hull pieces as I went along and the ramp section was one of the last parts to attach, completing the frame. However, I did not attach the motor part until a little later, as this was easy to do once I had finish painting. Regards Mark
