there are a few 3d printer members on here, i built the vector 3 part works, works very well. if you are looking for programs to make models try thingiverse, they are brilliant.

HI there,
I have the IDBOX 3d printer.I am currently designing some X-wing wings for my 1/18 x wing conversion. 3d designing car bodies would be quite challenging because of the compound curves involved.I use 123design for simple models, but you would probably need a professional CAD program like Rhino5 or Catia to render complex 3d shapes.Rhino 5 is pretty daunting to use.Thingiverse also has tons of models you can download and modify.

If you have some 3d models of car bodies I would love to see them.

I am planning on making a video showing how I designed the wings for my 1/18 x-wing

Carl
