Do we know if the kit comes with copper tiles or tape for the lower hull?

If you look at the model photos it has neither.

Model Shipways supply this manufacturer type/size copper tape with their kit, which is used in conjunction with a pounce wheel to nail mark:

It's application on the Shipways model can seen here: https://modelshipworld.c...;page=14#comment-285715

You'll find this Constitution sheathing link of great interest:

Thanks Tomick for that clarity, the tape solution looks like a good way to go if you want to copper the hull

BigGrin Interesting to see the jagged water line of the copper sheathing in the 1858 photo so if your modeling the ship to represent the ship earlyer than the pic this is the way to go. Apparently the hull shape makes the Conny a hard ship to keep the sheathing lines straightCool
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

These individual tiles are close to scale but more time consuming to fit and thicker material http://www.cornwallmodel...g/caldercraft83525.html

I have used these tiles and they are excellent quality, could be a bit pricey though
