Just been looking at different products to age the model.

Found this online and looking at a video on youtube, the results are great.

Would this be suitable for the falcon, I can't see any problems, and for me it's probably going to be easier than learning how to airbrush.

Also what are your thoughts on the Badger airbrush set that deagostini sell..?

If you are going to build any more than one model get an airbrush and use it.
Not hard and way better for a smooth coat with no brush marks and no drip lines etc....

Thank you, I am going to call a company Monday to discuss the various options available, watching a few videos on youtube, has made me realise it's not as hard as what I have been imagining.

you can get setups that are complete with a few brushes and the hookup parts and a small compressor.

the one i use most has a small reservoir on top for paint and the trigger controls the mix of paint and air so you can vary it as you go.

a few sheets of paper can be used to practice with at first...
work on drawing a line and making a small dot and signing your name...
after a while it's really natural to use them.

[quote=Hyperdrive Kid]Thanks figuerres

This is what I have been looking at, there are various models, all priced the same, so I'm going to call them to find out the differences, and go from there.

looks good, also get a cleaning pot and a couple of bottles of cleaning solution.
when you are done you fill the paint holder with the cleaning solution and stick the end of the brush into the hole in the cleaning pot and run the brush till the cleaning solution has run out.
that helps clear out the paint and keep the nozzle and fittings clear for the next use.
