Here's a couple of cars I Would love to see in 1/8 scale.

Ford Escort Mk1 Rally

Audi Quattro 1985 Rally

Lancia Delta HF Rally

Porsche 959 Paris-Dakar 1986

Audi Quattro 1981

You might see I have a slight theme going on hereLOL

Ps I used to have the Tamiya 959 radio controlled car when I was younger (wish I still had it) I used to race the local cars up and down my street. It was really quick as I replaced the standard 540 motor with a more high spec one. I Love it

I love the Rally cars too. I know there is a Subaru Rally parts work in Japan but I would love it if DeAgostini made one. I think I read where they had a R/C one a few years ago.

DeAgostini kit builds:

Millennium Falcon: 18% Complete
Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete
Thunderbird 2: 13.75% Complete

I'd be tempted by the Audi Quattro.
BUT - If it's not the iconic orange colour, not interested.
I'd build mine as Gene Hunt's car from Ashes to Ashes...
