Hi All.
My boss at work was a Grenadier guardsman.
He asked if I could find and paint a figure for him.
I found the figure on CSG model website. A few pictures of the bust below.
Ian.

That's a nice looking casting.

Airfix used to do a 1/12 full Guardsman figure, you might find the odd one on eBay
https://www.ebay.co.uk/p...5&crdt=0&chn=ps

Also done as parts of a figure set..

Ian

Its a company i had never heard anout before but have seen some of their figures in various magazines and wondered were they came from.

Looking at their website they have some great pricing with postage included which i love.

Tomick gave some good detail on the older airfix kits (brilliant in my view when you consider when these came out and what else was available at the time)

Now i have not seen these but it appears revell are doing a range of 1:16 scale figures that look interesting. Some i have never seen before like the Venetian guard so assuming these are all new moulds.

If they are you may be interested as they have a Coldstream guard.

Here is an ebay item code that lists the range but as ever if interested search out the best price and deal for yourself

That's a really nicely produced bust Ian, the Airfix ones were okay but not in the same league as your CSG one.

Thanks to every one for looking in and your comments.
I have a great interest in Napoleonic era uniforms after going to the battle of waterloo site when I was a small kid. I am in the process of getting a few kits for future build diary`s at the moment.
Thanks again for looking in. IanBigGrin
