Thanks for looking in Andy, Phil and Mark.
Phil.
I Normally start eyes by painting the sockets white first.
Then I place black circles onto the white sockets for the eyeball position.
I then mix the colour you are going to use for the eyes and paint it within the black circles and let the paint dry and put in the pupil with black paint. if the eyes are big enough also the light reflection in white.
some times they are ok first time, if you don't like the look of them white over them and do it again.
Do not apply thick coats of paint whilst painting the eyes. other wise if you have to do them again it tends to fill the eye sockets on the model very quickly.
Hope this helps Ian. BigGrin

Hi all.
Face shadow put in using Life colour Flesh 1 shadow around the face.

Eyes have been put in using method in Last post. Using Dealer Rowney Coeruleum blue paint 112, and matt black for the pupils.

Life Colour Flesh shadow 2 UA712 was then used around the face area.

A thin coat of Life Coulour Flesh 1 Light paint was put over the Shade areas.

Thanks for looking in Ian.

HI all.
Shoulder boards and colour painted in using Golden Fluid Acrylic Prussian Blue Hue.

The white around collar and shoulder boards, and grenade and cypher, was put in using Tamiya XF-2 Flat white paint.

Light blue paint for the cypher was mixed and painted on.

I am using war games foundry paint for the tunic. They are three pots of paints mixed to give a shade colour, a middle colour, and a light colour, shades of scarlet.

The last picture shows the 38a scarlet shade applied for the shadow areas.
Thanks for looking in. Ian
