Build of the year entry 2017 .I have entered this in the competeton just in case it turns out ok but I haven't done a tank build for about 35 years and probably won't even get it finished in time. There is already a great review on this site so I won't bore you with more pics of the contents. The first thing I had to do was wash all the frames in soapy water,a process I don't usually bother with but you could actually see the release agent lying on the surface. nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Spent ages cleaning up the wheel assembly's.The wheels themselves had hardly any flash but the hubs were quite fiddly .The detail is stunning and they went together beautifully. nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Hi everyone, did a bit more this week. This a great kit much better than what I'm used to but it's not without issues. There is a problem with the suspension, when assembled the arms angle inwards in a v shape .Luckily before building I checked out other build logs first so I new this was coming.I found an easy fix by filing a couple of mil off the bottom of parts c3 and c4 before fixing.Sorry only took pictures after I did this ,they now sit nice and straight. nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Thanks for looking in Alan and jase.Added the rear hull ,some nice details already moulded on ,added some more but left the exhaust off until painting.A ball and socket joint make the machine gun moveable. At this point the upper and lower hull are just dry fitted but you can see the fit is fantastic. nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Nice work so far nightwisher, certainly some nice detail in those mouldings, especially the weld seams, very cool - well done.
