Issue 22
Contents: Left upper wishbone, left lower wishbone, left suspension upright, screws.
Take the inner side member from Stage 21, noting the two pivot holes, line up the lower wishbone with the side member, fitting the pin projecting from the lower wishbone into the hole on the left. Holding the lower wishbone in place, line up the upper wishbone with the side member and fit the pin projecting from the upper wishbone into the hole on the right. Take the suspension upright and hold it as shown, fit the two pivot holes over the pins projecting from the two wishbones and press the suspension upright fully into place, aligning the fixing holes with the matching holes in the side member. Fit two of the screws provided into the holes to hold the suspension upright in place, tightening both screws fully, then checking that both wishbones are able to pivot freely.

Take the components supplied and the two side member/suspension assemblies from Stages 20 and 22. Starting with the left-hand side member assembly, holding the parts as shown interlock them so that the fixing holes indicated line up with each other then drive a screw into the upper fixing hole and the lower fixing hole. Repeat this with the right-hand side member assembly. The assembly should now look as shown. You will add further pieces to the sides of the subframe in the next stage.

Issue 24
Contents :Right-hand upper brace, Right-hand diagonal brace, screws.
Take the assembly from Stage 23, align the upper brace by fitting it at an angle with the cranked square on the end of the upper brace against the front cross member and turning the assembly over, with the hole in the long arm with the hole in the side member. Fit a screw to secure the brace to the side member. Fit the pin on the end of the diagonal brace into the hole just above where the wishbone pivots so that it locks into place. Line up the other end of the diagonal brace with the end of the upper brace so that the two holes come together then drive a screw in to join the two braces. You will add the braces to the left hand side in the next stage.
This issue is now complete. Store the assembly and any unused parts in an issue labelled bag.
