Here are a few shots from yesterday. This thing will never be finished, but I feel its finished enough to post a pic or two. Comments, critiques are welcome.

Terrific looking lady . I see you're going all out to replicate the studio model , what with the ' reflective tape ' (?) on the exhaust grills and escape pod corridors . Like the ' Champion ' logo on the port mandible as well !
Thanks for sharing ,

There is a certain amount of artistic freedom when building a replica. On the 5 foot replica, they applied a lot of wet transfer decals as well as some 3M reflective tape (as pictured). The reflective tape is only visible on a few pics on the web. On my model I wanted to incorporate the parts of the 3 footer and 5 footer.

My goal was to take this kit and present it as eye correct with some studio correct details.

I have been following the builds here as well as on the RPF. I hope my skills have held steady.

Thanks for all the kind words. Ive only posted these pics on two sites and I was a little apprehensive as this is my first large scale model.

Derek, I hope Guy Fawkes makes a return soon.
