I have made another boo-boo and I'm just deciding whether it's worth correcting or not.
When fixing the wales, I laid the 1x3mm & 1x5mm wales correctly however, when it came to the lower wales instead of laying 2x5mm, I carried on and laid 3 more 1x5mm stripes and so I lost the small step that should be there. I noticed this as I started to think about the side pieces under the gallery.

I am minded to leave it now and simply put it down to negligence except for one important thing. In other words, will it seriously affect anything later on such that it would be better to fix it now rather than wait?
Many thanks as ever guys.

Hi John Don't know if it will make any difference as I am nowhere near this stage. For peace of mind, and appearance sake, I would add 1x5mm strips over the top to make up for what should be 2x5. You will have to get your paints out again but it may be worth it. I hope someone further on with the build can tell you if it will make a difference or not. Alan. Today is the tomorrow you wished for yesterday!

Hi John, I've been looking at this and I cannot see anything that will cause you a problem later on in the build if you leave the wales as they are. The only thing I see is that it won't look as it should..... Regards Alan
