Early this spring I found a 1983 purchase from the old Model Expo company of a Barrie Voisey 9Lb Napoleonic Field Gun and Limber. The plans were full size in 1/10th scale English dimensions and were dated 1978 for the gun and 1980 for the limber. I paid $189US at the time.

Mr Barrie, whose shop was in Fenton, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England, passed away in 2014 but his plans are still available or so I understand. He assembled some kits and this was one. It have sized jetulong wooden pieces, a turned brass barrel and lots of stamped and stock brass. Wheel rims were assembled and hubs were pre turned.

The wheels were the biggest challenge and a jig is recommended and mandatory. It was a fun build and turned out beautiful.

Thanks to all for the kind words. It was a fun and satisfying build. If it was not glued to prevent accidents, all boxes open, the gun elevates, it could be broken down just as real one. So each section finished was a small model in itself.
