BigGrin Hi All

Had this in the stash for a while and thinks its time to get it moving, this is the original full interior kit and not the latest version that no longer has that option.

The kit is in MFH's usual sturdy packaging and opens out to see the large instruction sheet and below the parts. The hull is a resin casting that shows off the correct construction of the hull and has a removable side to access the interior.

Five bags of cast white metal parts that include the guns, barbets superstructure and internal parts. A small box contains the printed mast, bridge, funnel, aircraft and other small parts. Next its the etch several sheets of pristine etch including the deck and the wooden deck decal.

Overall a super detailed model of the super battleship that should be a dream to build. I have also bought Eduards etch IJN crew set I wont be using them all but may add a few to give scale.

Link here to the MFH Yamato page with loads more pictures of the ship and kit contents:-

Very interested to see this come together its a very detailed kit from what I have seen on the net, and like rocking horse poo to find now. Am I right in thinking the scale is 1:700, a proper challenge this on I think

looking forward to seeing it underway

Will keep eye on this one completely.

The amount of detail at this scale should make for a challenging build. Looking forward to see it coming together.

Not as small as I imagined.

Good luck and happy building.
