Hi all well i received two 1/48 kits of my daughters for fathers day and having not built any allied planes in this scale before(have built them in 1/72) have deceided on building the following - Liberator B-24 J "Maulin mallard" - Liberator B-24 D "Jerks Natural" - Lancaster mk111 "Phantom or the Ruhr"- Flying fortress B-17 "Memphis Belle"- now this will be ongoing because each plane has it`s own history which i will post before i start each build in turn Starting with Maulin Mallard. they will each have detail sets and etch also panel lines will be re- scribed on some of them too, So the kits i`ve got are Revell Monogram and Tamiya the lanc and the liberator J are second hand kits which i got of ebay hope to start soon regards PhilCool

Some nice kits there Phil and in a good scale too. I particularly like the Liberator and will be watching and commenting on all of your bomber builds.

Well done, I'm looking forward to the start of your diaries already! Cool ThumpUp

That's a lot of extra goodies Phil, I can see these bombers being very detailed when complete, and those homemade decals look excellent (well done 'Sticky' Phil).

I'll be watching with great interest when you start these. Drool ThumpUp
