Thanks for looking in guys BigGrin

A quick question aimed at all of you with knowledge of painting. I bought some Halfords primer to use on this model. Is it compatable with Airbrush paints? Will be using Vellejo acrylics.

Thanks

I've used umpteen different paints over Halfords grey primer in a rattle can.
Amazing stuff. I've never had trouble with it.
Great build by the way...

Thanks Mark. I am really enjoying this build Love

Here is my latest update. And here is the first time the instructions don't match the build Confused. The instructions say to attach the turret bottom using 5 screws, but there are 6 mounting points Huh. The single screw at the rear of the turret has no mounting point (see pics). oh well it held well enough with the 5 i put in.

Last 2 pics are of the next stage.

Looking very nice.

Not familiar with these hobbyboss kits but from what i have been reading and seeing they are a fairly new and quality player on the modelling scene.

Just picked myself up a rather good bargain of the hobbyboss 1:35 german 2cm flak 38 pz kpfw 38 t and for £18 including postage the quality of the parts is exceptional.

You have the advantage of one of their larger scale kits and it looks so good.

Hope the rest of your build goes well.
Happy Modelling

Hi guys
Thanks for looking in Cool
Tony, yes that sounds like a real bargain! I have to have a bigger scale with my fat fingers lol

here is a small update...tracks finished. Didn't know whether to glue the pins in as they are mostly quite loose. Didn't know if the tension when fitted would keep them in place...

Hi

You could put a spot of glue on the inside face of the track length to hold the pins in place. This would be enough to hold them in position and if they ever need removing a spare pin tapped into the pin channel should free it.

Hi Andy/Phil
Thanks for the help. Mick, i appreciate the comments.

Just realised i might have made a booboo Blushing

I had thought about adding the zimmeritt from a kit at welshdragonmodels, but having put the tracks on the turret and tools on the hull, i might have to change my mind.

Gray
