Thanks for all the great comments and interest. This update has been a little delayed for two reasons. 1: Had a bit of an issue with the front frame from issue 23. Having built most of the parts I had for this update, I to take a few steps back to replace the defective part. Looks like I had a one off defect as nobody else seems to have had the same issue and top marks for CS as received new part in 10 days from calling them. 2: I`m recovering from a serious ear infection. Now on the better side of the recovery. Anyway on with the update. Stage 29: Have left this till required as two parts connected and then left till later. (Safer in the packaging for now, just my way) Stage 30: Fit the fan to its mount. Assemble the header tank. Fit the fan to the header tank, then add the pressure cap and overflow pipe. (Main hose saved for a later stage) Stage 31: Fit the front sub frame. Fit the left diagonal strut to the top frame. Fit the front left brace, between the top of the front frame and the front sub frame. Fit the header tank into the top of the front frame. Fit the front right brace, between the top of the front frame and the front sub frame. Then turn the assembly over and fit two screws into the bottom of the front braces. A bit more to come very soon. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) delboy271155 attached the following image(s): COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi All, So last bit to update until the next delivery, which shouldn`t be far off. Stage 32: Assemble the anti-roll bar and its two tie bars, then fix with two screws. Fit the anti-roll bar to the main front frame and fix with two screwsfrom the front of the assembly. Secure with the two anti-roll bar mounts. Now place the steering gear case in place as shown. Hold it in place, whilst turning the assembly over and fit the lower (R) brace in place and secure it all with a screw. Position the sterring shaft gear in place as shown. Then place the steering rack in place and secure with two screws at the ends as shown. There are then two steering rack mounts to fit, each with two screws as shown. Last picture until I get some more parts delivered is of the front frame at the end of this stage. Happy Building Regards delboy271155 (Derek) delboy271155 attached the following image(s): COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Glad to hear you getting over you illness Derek. Always seems to be this time of year that you only have to open the front door to get hit by something. Your model looks to be progressing very well. Amazing how quickly the weeks pass to see the issue number you are now up to. Hope it all continues well. Happy Modelling

Hi All Many thanks to all who have viewed and thanks for the comments left. They are most appreciated. I`ve been very busy recently, so been a bit amiss with an update. Working in freight delivery at the airport at this time of year, is to say the least frantic and that`s working only three nights a week. Enough of that anyway, here`s the update: Pic 1: Assembling the main engine hose. Pic 2: Fit same hose to front of engine. Pic 3: Fitting the engine to the front frame. Note position of front hose (indicated by three red arrows). This is essential to be able to fit the radiator. Pic 4: From the "top" view of the engine in place. Pic 5: Fit the oil filter. Pic 6: Fit hose between the header tank and the water outlet pipe. Pic 7: Fit the previously assembled sump. Pic 8: This is the "where we are shot" at this point. You now move away from the engine and front frame for a short while, to build the radiator. So..... Pic 9: The fan guard is mounted to one side of the Radiator. Pic 10: Fit the second side of the Rad. Pic 11: Fit the top hose to the Rad. Pic 12: Fit the Rad to the front frame. Be careful of the bottom hose, so you don`t displace it when fitting the Rad. Well that`s it for this update. I`ve got more done, but that`s for a little later.
