The TB2 Launchpad accessory is now available to buy via the ModelSpace online shop....Drool

https://www.model-space....ird-2-display-ramp.html

See it in action here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQvLkrZA4T4

The display Launchpad features sounds (Thunderbirds 5-4-3-2-1 countdown and music), a moving ramp and blast pit, and moving palm trees. Self-assembly kit, (does not include the TB2 contents or the case).

We have limited stock so grab it while you can!

Just ordered mine, having had authority from SWMBO. A quick question though - is the Perspex cover included as it is shown on a couple of the photos?

Noted above - (does not include the TB2 contents or the case). The two images are being removed.

Thank-you. Do you know the dimensions of the cover sold with the Japanese kit, as I will probably commission one to be made?

Afraid not. Best to go by the footprint dimensions of the Launchpad you receive and see how your case will fit on top of the base. times the height needed to clear the palm trees and ramp height with TB2 upon it. The top edge of the base appears to have a recess which the case drops into.

Cheers. Just checked the dimensions on the DeAgostini Japan website and it does say approximate for all the dimensions. I’ll do as you suggest and wait until it is completed and measure it accurately.

Be mindful that its launch operation can only be with the case removed as the palm trees fall outside of the base footprint.

Really upset that I've only just discovered this model and the launchpad. T2 was always my favourite and the launchpad is just iconic. Really hope that you're able to secure a few more, as for me without the launchpad it doesn't display right. Signed up to stock alerts so fingers crossed Mellow
