Evening - I’m Phil, 41, and trying this modelling malarkey with the Yamato- might try a diary, but we will see if I’m happy with my workmanship

Hi Phil, Welcome to the forum. As for the diary, it`s also a means for people to assist should you come across an issue. We have a wealth of experience within the forum, which is free for you to tap into if/or when required. Enjoy your build Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Welcome aboard Phil, great to have you with us.... Best way to learn this modelling game is to create a diary, it helps keep you on track and to resolve any issues you may come across..... Good luck in your new venture.... Regards Alan

Welcome to the forum Phil, As mentioned, having a diary helps you in many ways, from giving you more confidence too helping with problems that arise. Don't be afraid to show of your work we all began somewhere.

Welcome to the forum. Only been here a little bit myself but every one seems really happy to help. I just got in my first model parts today for my own build (R2D2) and should be starting a build diary soon as well, it seems like the best way to not only show progress but to get input on issues that come up during the build. Happy building and can't wait to see the finished ship. Building: R2D2
