Doing issue 57 today. Got everything wired up. When I hit the A button, the ramp descends to the full length of the rams, but then it keeps trying to descend. Only way to stop is to hit A again and it pulls the ramp back up (stops then, thank goodness). The light does work, FWIW.
Anyone know what's going on?

It’s difficult without seeing it, but check the contact pins on both the top and bottom. See whether ther connect when pressing the button. Mark

Mark Sorry, what contact pins? Are we talking about the two paddle-looking deals on the top of the motor? Because if so, I noticed that the little "tongue" doesn't ever contact the lower one. It seems to be just short. It does hit the upper one on the journey up, though. I tried poking the lower paddle down on the trip down to see if that triggered a stop, but it didn't seem to. Other than that, not sure what you mean.

It's probable the paddle you mentioned bent, I’m sure when the ramp is moving in the downward/open position, the white plastic cog should bring the top paddle onto the lower paddle, stopping it. Try that first, and let me know. Regards Mark

Yup, that was it. The upper paddle was not attached to the cog. Thanks for your help!
