Now for Stage 4. Real simple stuff. Panel lined the lower half of the front fuselage. Removed the “2” graphic from the open panel. Panel lined that as well. Painted the edges red for the intake. Assembled the lower hatch/bay area, and places the observation window in place.

There are more parts for the Thunderbird 4. Since I am not using it they were bagged up with the others.

As an example of a TB2, that is clearly a FAB 1!

I am not actually building the “Thunderbird 2” from the tv show. I am building a “mech dropship”. It will have its own custom badging.

I guess it's something like the Dropship and APC in Aliens?

Are you going off of some reference pics

Ok I received month two now. Now that I have the bottom half of the main body I was able to get a good idea of space available for my plans. Had to rethink and change up my original plan but I think I got a good idea how to work it. I still have other plans for the pods, but I need month three so I can see if those plans will work.

For now here is Stage 5. Installed the interior compartments for the observation windows. Assembled the test box and tested the lighting in the cockpit.

Stage 6. Panel lined the rear cockpit trim. Painted the edging red on the trim around the vent area. I also want to paint the edging of the yellow stripe but don’t have the yellow paint right now so will do it a bit later. Then finally attached the trim to the main part of the cockpit.

I will not be using the rescue vehicle for from this stage. So the parts were bagged up and set aside.

Got more coming up shortly. I had to wait till I got some supplies from a Gundam store and I been doing some test building to see which direction I head in. So look for a updated post soon.

Time for Stage 7. This is a simple one. First off I finally got my yellow paint in. So first I painted the edges yellow. Next up I install the left and right vent.

I won’t be building the Recovery Vehicle so the parts were bagged up for later.
