Hello all,

to compliment my DeAgostini Thunderbirds 1,2 and 4, i am thinking of buying the 1/350 scale Aoshima Thunderbird 3.

Has anyone on here already built it, and if so, what sort of size is it? I cannot find dimensions on the internet for it.

And secondly, what paint colour would he correct? As its more of an orangey red, than a red red, if that makes sense!

Many thanks

Dan

Hi Dan

Nice build review here as well as a mention of the paint colour this modeller used

http://www.fanderson.org...m/showthread.php?t=2741

Another forum has the following detail

The 1/350 TB3 measures in at 25cm/10".

I painted her with Mr Hobby Hobby Color H14 orange which seemed more correct, ie darker, than Tamiya's X-6 orange. The radiator fins etc were painted with Tamiya IJN Gray XF-77.
Happy Modelling

There is also a resin TB3 kit made by Uncl.It is quite large when finished and is a bit tricky to build though.
