Ventilation Panel & Wiper Assembly

Top Ventilation Panel
1.8x3.5mm Screws
2.3x4mm Screws

Retrieve the windscreen wipers supplied with the previous stage. Take the windscreen wiper marked R, and fit it into the hole in the ventilation panel.

Hold the windscreen wiper in position and secure it to the panel with a 1.8x3.5mm.

Insert the left windscreen wiper into the other hole in the panel. Secure the left wiper with another 1.8x3.5mm screw.

Insert the tab at the front of the top ventilation panel into the space behind the hood. Lower the back of the panel until it sits flush with the rest of the body.

Hold the panel in place and turn the body over. Secure the panel with two 2.3x4mm screws.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in an issue labelled bag.

You can’t fit the rear window yet, but you can do a test fit to see where it fits.

The rear window follows the lines of the body.

Rear Window Frame And Aerial

Rear Window Frame
Aerial
1.2x3mm screws

Place the rear window into the space at the rear of the body.

Now take the rear window frame, and locate the fixing tabs around the edge. These will secure the frame to the body. Align the frame with the space in the body, over the rear window, with the fixing tabs facing towards the body.

Press the tabs at the rear of the frame into the body. Then press the side tabs into their holes, and finally, the three top tabs.

Now take the aerial, and insert it into the hole in the body. Hold the aerial in place, turn the body over, and secure the aerial from the inside with a 1.2x3mm screw.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in an issue labelled bag.

Door Frames & Steps

Right Door Upper Frame
Right Door Step
Left Door Upper Frame
Left Door Step
2.3x3mm Screws

Note: The information provided in the magazine relating to hinge brackets is incorrect - ignore it. The hinge brackets were updated for the UK release and the ones in issues 10 and 14 are correct.

Locate the pins on the right door upper frame. Align the pins on the frame with the corresponding holes in the opening for the right door in the body. Push the pins into the holes until the frame is flush.

Take the right door step and hold it with the curved part towards the rear. Push the pins on the underside of the step into the corresponding holes in the body.

Follow the same steps to mount the left door upper frame and the left door step.

Issue complete, carefully store any remaining parts in an issue labelled bag.
