Ballast and sleepers Options

I don't see any mention of glueing ballast pieces and sleepers in place. Is there any view on this as it makes it awkward to turn the display base upside down if needed .

I glued the sleepers and ballast pieces in place as it made it easier to turn over in order to change the batteries.

Many thanks I can't see any reason why not but just wanted to see if anyone knew of a reason why not.
