Hi All this will be my comp entry. not I am not in this to win it just for the fun of taking part and its a good excuse to build this kit from my stash!!
this will be a straight box build other than I ma rig the wings which is described in the instructions but no material is provided for it
here are some pics
Box art and 4 sprue of parts that I think were manufactured by Eduard originally and re branded as Revel.

Looks a very nice kit Jase and one of my favourite fighters from WWI along with the Royal Aircraft Factory SE.5a. Should build into a cracking model.

First of all I have a little correction to make, this won't quite be a straight box build, I got the Eduard etch for it, sorry could not help it   
So lets get stuck in, first job was to prime all the parts on the sprue, Halfords grey, my trusty primer of choice most of the time.
Build actually starts with the floor pan of the cockpit, not sure if that was the correct term for the early birds but you know what I mean. Paint used is Tamiya silver, dark sea grey, medium grey and titanium silver. Inside the fuselage halves I used burnt siena artists tube paint.
Peddles and joystick on first and another lever, not sure what it is, then the floor was painted followed by the other parts of the assembly thus far.
next on was a brass pump, like a bicycle pump this was painted in AK true metal oil
while that lot was drying I gave the fuselage halves their foundation colour.

Regards Gray To be honest this little kit is just that so when something is drying on Mikasa I jump onto my other desk to do a bit of this, and once my railings come I will do the the same with the Duchess build, good job I have three work desks

The build continues with the two engines side sections. These should be painted Aluminium but I chose titanium silver to allow for a wash. some parts of the engine are picked out in dark grey.
I used a dark grey with a spot of brown and heavily thinned to create an oily looking wash.
the to parts are put aside for future assembly.

Having given the Engine sides a wash as described above they can be installed into the fuselage halves. not much of the engine is seen but a bit is.
I then moved onto the pilots dash. the raised dials of the plastic part were removed with a file. the back of the dashboard is painted mid grey and the first etch part is fixed in place.
The next piece goes on top put the dials behind the wood effect etch facia.
a smal pence of etch is then added to the bottom of the assembly. that nearly finishes the dash other than I want to give the dials some glazing.
I then gave it a wash using a dark was for grey warships. The camera flash makes this look less subtle than it really is.

Nice work Jase, like the wash on the engine, makes it look suitably oily and leaking as you would expect from WWI engines. Like the instrument panel too.

That’s a tiny panel though it’s cut or placement looks slightly off place at the bottom left, all the same should look great in the cockpit, we’ll done

Many thanks all for looking in and the kind words of support. I only noticed the slight misalignment of the dash from viewing the photo. I have decided to not rusk causing damage by removing and setting again, although most likly douable, i feel it wont bee seen one the part is in its final position Jase “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”
