SoI have started to create some depth with orange around the patterns on the yellow which you can see in pencil, on top of the orange then some depth with the red this will be in preparation for the black and some scarlet shading. I have carried out the same process on the head and neck with a darker blending from yellow to scarlet on the legs. godan61 attached the following image(s):

Ok so decided to redo under the wings and bring the red back a bit, a lot happier with the outcome I have to say especially with a little airbrushed earth to give some shading in there. So on the top of the wings I cut a template for the camouflage so I could flip it and create it identical in reverse and I have to say its brought the wings to life. Also bringing the black into the neck and belly has started to bring it to life. godan61 attached the following image(s):

Thanks for the comments guys his will be the first of a couple of posts as I sprint to the finish line before we go on holiday First off I wanted to show the detail in the wings close upI am really pleased with the tissue paper effect combined with the paintwork and how it makes it look really leathery and bat like. godan61 attached the following image(s):
