A Bristol Freighter stored in New Zealand since 1977 has been returned to Bristol for a full restoration at Aerospace Bristol.

Ah - one of my favourites. Another ugly aircraft that just appeals so much.

Airfix used to have a very dated kit of this one and if memory serves at one point they issued it with a little car model to go into the hold.

On and off over the years i have looked on ebay for it, more for nostalgia rather than it being a good kit. Its either not available or if it is someone wants "gold" prices for It.

Nice to see this one will be restored for real.
