Nice work Ian, looking good. I can see why you enjoy doing these less modern military figures, they are so full of colour and with some very interesting action poses.Cool ThumpUp

Thanks for the comments Kev. the Napoleonic paint colours I have a very wide range from cornflower blues,Reds ,greens probably about 85 pots of paints.
The poses are really good on the older style figures I have one in me collection to do of a bugler leaning against a tree.

Hello Ian,

Yeah, it doesn't take long to amass a large collection of paints especially in a modelling genre such as yours where there are a lot of different colours used between the various figures and sometimes even just on one individual figure! Blink BigGrin

The buglar leaning against a tree sounds like an interesting pose, I'll look forward to watching your diary for it if you post one. Well done again on your work Ian, looking good.

The rifle has been painted with three tones of musket brown paint.
The mud effects have been added to the sleeves of the tunic and a few splashes on the breast plate.
This now finishes both models.
Thanks to all that have looked in and left comments. IanBigGrin
