Hi Bob, Welcome to the forum. I`m sure you`ll love the Mustang build as you progress and sometimes being a bit of a late starter has its bonus points. Should something be a bit tricky (possible in any model build), then you`ll be able to see how people dealt with it and should you want to enhance any part of your build you can see what`s coming up to see if it will cause its own issues. I wish you well and good luck with your build. Don`t forget: Should you even think you have an issue, just ask the question here and someone will always come to your aid. Hi Bob, Looks like your off to a flyer and it looks great. One tip when posting your pics, is to resize them to fit the forum. That way they don`t appear as a download and will appear as visible pics. If your unsure how to do this the info you require is in the link below: Pic resizingAlso congrats on your first medal. You have been awarded the "Blue" medal for starting your diary. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi Bob. Greetings from a cold and wet Yorkshire. I just finished my build, but left it total factory as I didn't have the time to add details. I loved the build apart from the odd glitch, but customer services came through with replacement parts when required. Enjoy, it is an awesome model when completed, but very very heavy... I'm waiting for a dry sunny day when I can photograph the model sat on the bonnet of my 1:1 Mustang which is almost the same colour... Also still waiting for my display case, which has been delayed due to stock shortages, but hey, it's tucked away safe away from kids and dogs. Cheers. Tony

Hello Bob. Looking great and I know you'll enjoy the build. Just a tip on painting the black on the wheels... When I did mine, I found it was an absolute doddle just to run a fine point permanent marker in the 'grooved' line detail. Far easier and neater than trying to use a brush and tissue to wipe away surplus paint. Then I just filled in the spoke spaces with a brush as you have done. Just a thought... roymattblack attached the following image(s):
