Issue 16 - Contains the rear wing end plates and lowers; and has instructions for gluing the rear wing lowers to the wing base and attaching the wing endplates.

Gluing the rear wing lowers to the wing base - Do a dry fit of the wing lowers onto the wing base and endplates. Then gently scrape off the paint from the points indicated in the magazine, you'll also need to mark the position of where the rear wing lowers fit to the wing base, and carefully scrape this area of paint.

Fix the right & left wing lower's, ensuring that both are secured level.

Gluing the main wings to the base - Carefully apply ABS glue to the hooked ends of the wing stays and into the corresponding grooves in the wing, and fit the two together.

Attaching the endplates - Do a dry fit of the endplates to be sure of the gluing/contact points, then apply glue and fit each endplate in turn.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the rear wing assembly.

Future issues:

Issue 17 - Contains Left/Right rear brake ducts, outer/inner uprights & holders, and screws; and has instructions for the assembly of these parts to complete stage 1 of the rear brake units.

Issue 18 - Contains rear lower suspension arms, rear pushrods and screws; and has instructions for stage 2 of the rear brake units - Attaching the pushrods to the lower suspension arms, and installing the suspension assemblies onto the uprights.

Issue 19 - Contains rear wheel brake rotor holders, wheel shafts, upright holders and screws; and has instructions for inserting the wheel shafts into the rotor holders and attaching the rotor holders to the uprights.

Issue 20 - Contains rear brake hubs, collars, wheel nuts and a wheel wrench; and has instructions for assembling the rear hubs and attaching the brake discs

Issue 17 - Contains left & right rear brake ducts, screws, outer & inner uprights and holders; and has instructions for the assembly of these parts to complete Stage 1 of the rear brake units.

Attaching the upright holder to the outer upright - Start by identifying the left outer upright (marked L), and the left upright holder, then secure the holder to the upright with a type E screw.

Joining the inner and outer upright - Identify the left inner upright (marked with an L), and using ABS glue, secure this to the left upright.

Attaching the air duct - Take the left air duct and dry fit it to the inner upright so you can identify the glue contact points, then glue the parts together ensuring they are correctly aligned.

Repeat the assembly sequence for the right brake unit.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the assemblies.

Future issues:

Issue 18 - Contains rear lower suspension arms, rear pushrods and screws; and has instructions for Stage 2 of the rear brake units - Attaching the pushrods to the lower suspension arms, and installing the suspension assemblies onto the uprights.

Issue 18 - Contains rear lower suspension arms, rear pushrods and screws; and has instructions for Stage 2 of the rear brake units - Attaching the pushrods to the lower suspension arms, and installing the suspension assemblies onto the uprights.

Attaching the pushrod to the lower suspension arm - Identify the left lower suspension arm and the left rear pushrod, then locate the holes as shown in the steps. Insert a screw through the hole in the suspension arm from the underside and at the same time offer up the pushrod and gently turn the screw into the hole - stop just before the screw is fully tight, then check that the pushrod is free to swivel from side to side without any up-and-down play.

Joining the suspension assembly to the upright - Hold the left upright uppermost and with the air duct facing you. locate the screw hole shown in the steps which is used to attach the suspension arm.
Insert the suspension assembly so that the point of the suspension arm fits against the hole and the pushrod is on top, closest to the upright holder.
Holding the suspension assembly in place, insert a screw through the hole in the upright and tighten fully.

Repeat the process for the right rear brake unit.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the assemblies.

Future issues:

Issue 19 - Contains rear wheel brake rotor holders, wheel shafts, upright holders and screws; and has instructions for inserting the wheel shafts into the rotor holders and attaching the rotor holders to the uprights.

Issue 19 - Contains rear wheel brake rotor holders, wheel shafts, upright holders and screws; and has instructions for inserting the wheel shafts into the rotor holders and attaching the rotor holders to the uprights.

Insert the wheel shafts into the rotor holders - Locate the rear wheel shafts into the rear brake rotors by carefully aligning the hex's, then push the axles into the hole so the ends are flush.

Attach the rotor holders to the uprights - Take the left and right rear brake upright suspension assemblies that you completed in issue 18.

The left-hand assembly is identified with an 'L' and the right with an 'R'.
Holding the threaded end of the axle shaft, align the tab on the rotor holder with the notch on the upright, when they are correctly aligned, screw the two together, then repeat for the opposite rear brake upright suspension assembly.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the assemblies and remaining upright lower holders.

Issue 20 - Contains rear brake hubs, collars, wheel nuts and a wheel wrench; and has instructions for assembling the rear hubs and attaching the brake discs.

Assembling the hubs and attaching the brake discs - Start by locating a collar into a brake hub, then glue the hub onto the brake disc ensuring that the mount points are engaged, and being careful not to get glue into the collar area.

Repeat the process for the other rear brake hub.

Test fit the brake disc assembly onto the rear wheel wheel axle shafts, both disc's should freely rotate.

Remove the discs and store for later use.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the remaining parts.
