Hello!

I read on the detailed official diary that a stain will be used for giving a darker tone to the deck. The color is Antique Pine.

Can you please let me know the brand of the stain and where can I find it?

I'm really struggling to find this color online.

Also what other stains are you using for the other details (like ladders etc)?

Thank you in advance!

Dimitrios

BigGrin Hi Dimitrios

The woodstain I am using is 'Rustins Wood dye', Antique Pine.

I have been using the above stain for all the ladders and hatches .

Link on flea-bay below:-

The paints I have used and will be using are:-

Tamiya Dark Green XF-70 [used to be called Brunswick Green]

Admiralty paints Dull Black.

Any good white paint your happy with.

Modelexpo also do a USS Constitution paint set:-

I know your not in the Uk so the above links are for reference only.

Hope this helps.
