The bulkhead part actually sits 'just' inside the bodywork.

As the body is die-cast, I'm guessing it 'could' be fitted now. However - you may well have to remove it again when the body arrives so that it can be fitted at the same time as it will need to tuck inside the body below the screen.

Hello All,

I have fitted bulkheads to both my cars as they will slide into the bodywork when it becomes available.

Also I have built several of the Monogram E-types and the bulkhead fits very much the same as on our models so Im basing my comments on that fact. Also the number of pats that have to be screwed to the bulkhead logic says now is the time fit it.

If Im wrong there will be a lot of unscrewing going on my workbench.

Just a thought Montydog...

You say you have fitted both bulkheads to you cars.
I'm guessing you mean to the floor section.

My question is, how?

There are no fixings between the bulkhead and floor parts.
How have you fixed them together?

Roy.

The fitting of the floors is very temporary using clips. Its been done to give

some idea how it will look in the end, there is obviously proper fittings for the floor probably

added to the flloor pan which should come later. I don't know what you think about the supply of

parts but they seem very slow infact the official build seems to be stuck on 50.

Also Roy how did you make the E type lightweight roof and windows as I would love to build one

Just like yours.

Hello Tony.

My roadster tail end and hard top were made using wooden masters then a rubber mould to make the tail in resin.
The roof and window parts were vac formed over the wood part.

The originals are currently being re-done in the hopes of making the rear as a plastic part too instead of resin.
